Monica Checkerboard is a handcrafted clay mosaic from the Fez region of Morocco, set in a checkerboard pattern of 1x1" squares on 8x8" sheets. Made from natural clay in the zellige tradition, each piece carries small variations in size, color, and surface texture, so no two read quite the same and the finish stays characterful rather than uniform.

The glossy glaze comes in several two tone combinations, across natural whites, blacks, calacatta greys, and natural clays. Available on 8x8" sheets in a glossy finish. Suitable for interior and exterior walls and floors, countertops, and pools, in both residential and commercial spaces.
