Fossil Marrone is a brown marble with large shell fossils and sedimentary rock. This stone is quarried in Morocco consisting of 100% real fossil ammonites and orthoceras. These are prehistoric squid and nautilus fossils carbon-dated back 350 million years. Ancient Greek and Roman sculptors and architects valued fossil marble as a cultural symbol of tradition and refined taste.
Each platter is hand-made in Morocco making each piece unique to the next.
